There soon could be changes to half of the city of Beaumont's ZIP routes. The Beaumont City Council will have a work session, public hearing and vote to realign the five of the city's ten fixed ZIP, formerly known as Transit Management of Beaumont, bus routes during Tuesday's meeting. The five routes with proposed realignments include Parkdale, South 11th, Pine, South Park and Laurel. "The current riders will not experience a significant disruption or elimination of services with such modifications," a memo to council members from Assistant City Manager of Community Services Chris Boone.
